Basic Science Research:
The relationship between dentistry and immunology: saliva immunology, the secretory immune system, the innate immune system in the secretory immunity, the innate immune system and NK cells in periodontal disease, the immune system in orthodontic tooth movement, salivary biomarkers for orthodontically induced root resorption. Effect of antimicrobial varnishes.
Orthodontic treatment of impacted teeth: etiology, diagnosis, characteristics of dentitions, impact of different surgical procedure, root resorption, failures, dental age and related anomalies . Adult orthodontics: implants as anchorage, adjustability and satisfaction to lingual and Invisalign, treatment of orthodontically associated gingival recession, orthodontic treatment of patients with aggressive periodontitis. Orthodontic treatment of Special need patients: motivation and satisfaction, characteristics of dentitions, guidelines for orthodontic treatment.
